Banque Misr Liban s.a.l. (BML) celebrated today the reopening of its branch in Furn el Chebback. The opening ceremony was under the patronage of his Excellency Mr. Ahmad El Bidewi, the Egyptian ambassador in Lebanon, and was attended by Mr. Mohammad KamaL El Dine Barakat, Chairman of the Board of Directors of BML, all board members, the Bank's top management, and a large number of personalities and leading business figures.
The opening of this new branch falls within the bank's strategy to further expand and modernize its operation in Lebanon, ensuring the proper channeling of its large range of products and services in an effort to better meet its customer needs.
The Chairman of BML, Mr. Mohammad Barakat, explained that the renovation of the branch was a another symbolic milestone in the Bank's quest for an enhanced business process, and that since the new management took over in 2007, Banque Misr Liban S.A.L has been actively implementing a comprehensive development program to regain its former stature in the Lebanese banking sector.
Barakat added: "Further announcements will follow in the months to come, as we expand our operations in Lebanon and our products and services, especially by building on synergies with Bank Misr Egypt and its international network."
The Executive General Manager of BML, Mr. Hadi Naffi talked about the new branch interior architecture and highlighted the modern, transparent and open design which reflects the bank's longstanding philosophy and code of business ethics.
